    Hi Team,

The checkout field on the checkout page is not working.

I have disabled the checkout editor I use and is it still not working.

The street name and number line/field is not displaying at all.

    Customers are unable to purchase.

This happened on the 29th of June as well – then I was able to solve it by updated botiga theme.

Today there was a Botiga update available and I updated, still no change and the address field is still missing from the checkout form enabling any purchase to be made.

Please help – this is critical.

    Thanks.

  • Hi @magicice,

We didn’t make any change in the checkout page in the latest theme update. Also, you can see our main demo with the checkout field displaying normally: https://demo.athemes.com/botiga/checkout/.

Could you please share your website URL, so we can do an inspection to see what’s happening?

    Kind Regards,

    Rodrigo.

    Hi @maaprote,

Here is the checkout page for my website – https://thechillpillcompany.com/checkout/

I have troubleshooted every other plugin to eliminate what could be wrong.

    Thanks

    Hi @magicice,

    Thanks for the link!

I got the issue now! Please try the following:

    1. Go to Appearance > Customize > Typography > Body, change the font-family to a new random family, then change it back to the previous again.
    2. Go to Appearance > Customize > Typography > Heading, change the font-family to a new random family, then change it back to the previous again.
    3. Save/publish the changes.
    4. Clear the server cache (if any) and plugin cache (if any).

Please try that and let me know if it works.

    Kind Regards,

    Rodrigo.

    Thanks Rodrigo @maaprote,

I have performed the debugging steps you have provided and the issue still remains.

Is there anything else I can do?

    Thanks,
    Elicia

    Hi Elicia,

That’s strange, it should works. Have you cleared all caches? Another thing you might try is go to Appearance > Customize > Performance and disable the “Load Google Fonts Locally”.

Please try that and let me know if it works.

    Kind Regards,

    Rodrigo.

    Rodrigo! Thank you so much.

    This one worked for me:
Appearance > Customize > Performance and disable the “Load Google Fonts Locally”.

The theme was also unbalanced before and was looking unaligned – was aligned to extreme left.

This fixed both issue for me ?? Thank you so much.

I don’t know where the caches are honestly, I have a plugin WP – Optimize but I haven’t enabled page caching.

Is that something I need to do? enable caches?

Thanks so much for your help Rodrigo ??

    Warm Regards,
    Elicia

    Hi @magicice,

    You are welcome!

Yes we recommend enabling the caching. This helps to increase the website performance.

    Hope this helps!
