  • Yes please! I’m having the same problem! Amazing plugin but this a serious bug…

Btw, this other post about the same issues mentions a temporary workaround: save the new post/page as a draft and it’ll work after the page reloads.

@valentinpou, @amrkhalifeh – Thanks for reporting the issue quickly. I will be working to get patches out quickly today for all found issues.

    Just to confirm:

    – Only have issues on new post/pages
    – No issues on edit page/post
    – No issues on new popup editor

If so the patch will be simple enough and I can get it out in v1.4.6

admin Editing theme problem after update wordpress to 4.5, working also with buddypress

I got this problem after upgrade to the last version of wp
    The error is
Notice:bp_setup_current_user was called incorrectly. The current user is being initialized whitout using $wp–>init()
This is found in the wp=includes/function.php on line 2901

    The next error is:
Warnig Cannot modify header information – header already sent by (output started at /home/domains/…./wp-inclusdes/functions.php:3901
    in /home/../domains/…./public_html/wp-includes/option.php om line 824

What must i do to fix this?

@itsmejohnnyb – The second is likely caused because the first error occured and displayed an error. The second simply means that some content was echoed to the browser before it should have been.

The first sounds like a theme / extension of buddypress calling one of its functions improperly, if you have access to the sites wp-content on your local drive you could use text search to find usages of that.

In any case Popup Maker doesn’t currently have anything for buddypress, just searched the code myself to double check. So it likely is coming from some other plugin or possibly theme that uses buddypress functionality.

    Hope that helps.
