• Hello everyone,

    I’m in desperate need of assistance regarding my website. I encountered a major issue with my blog posts where all the inside content has mysteriously disappeared, leaving only the featured images visible. This problem has affected all my blogs, and it’s causing me a great deal of stress.

    In an attempt to resolve this issue, I decided to restore a previous version of my website using Updraft, a backup plugin. However, after trying various backup files, I realized that each time I attempted a restore, it changed the date to the current one. As a result, I now find myself unsure which backup file corresponds to the version of my website from yesterday.

    I’m reaching out to the community in the hopes that someone can guide me through the process of restoring my website to the state it was in yesterday. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide screenshots to illustrate the problem due to forum limitations.

    If anyone has encountered a similar situation or has experience with restoring websites from backups, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. I’ve invested countless hours into creating and maintaining my blogs, and I’m feeling quite overwhelmed by this setback.

    Please help me regain access to my previous website version and ensure that all the content is intact. Any guidance, step-by-step instructions, or suggestions on how to resolve this issue would be immensely helpful.Thank you all in advance for your time and support.   • Hey there!

    I would suggest you try checking your website’s backups in your hosting account instead of WordPress itself. Restoring your website’s files and database should restore the website exactly to the state of the backup’s date. Hopefully, that will resolve the issue.

    We do offer complimentary backups for our customers. They are created on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. These backups are not guaranteed in any way. We highly recommend that all Bluehost customers create and manage their own backups.
