    Hello, I am currently building my website so my url is still pointing to my current site, which actually annoys me as I can’t get support through a ticket with Woo unless they can access the site. ?? I am not sure who wants a live website without shipping! Anyway, I will copy and paste my support ticket as it took a lot of writing for not much result LOL.

    I am trying to do all the conditional shipping for my site before I can go live, but am running into issues. I am wondering if you could check things for me and help with some additional restrictions.

    I have set up the following shipping classes:

    Flat Rate Large Letter
    Flat Rate Large Letter Express
    Flat Rate Parcel
    Flat Rate Parcel Express
    Bulky Item Rate
    Local Pickup
    Local Pickup ONLY (this is different to Local Pickup as the local pickup option should be on most all products but Local Pickup ONLY is for only a few heavy items).

    The first restriction I set up is that I can send up to and including 8 products that are in the flat rate letter class as a large letter:
    I excluded all methods except Large Letter/Express and Local Pickup.?
    Shipping Class = Not in Package (all classes except Large Letter/Express and Local Pickup)
    and
    Package Item Count <=8

    The second restriction I set up is anything that is a large letter class but over 8 products need to go as a small parcel:
    I excluded all methods except for Flat Rate Parcel/Express and Local Pickup.
    Shipping Class = In Package (all classes except Flat Rate Parcel/Express and Local Pickup
    and
    Package Item Count >= 9

    The third restriction I set up is to show only the option of Flat Rate Parcel/Express and Local Pickup if a parcel rate product is added to <=8 large letter class.
    I excluded all methods except for Flat Rate Parcel/Express and Local Pickup
    Shipping Class = Not all items in package (all classes except for Flat Rate Parcel/Express and Local Pickup

    These seem to be working ok, but do they look right?

    The problem I have, is when I have a Local Pickup Only or Bulky Item.? If someone puts something in a cart that is Local Pickup Only, I want any further items added to the cart to only show Local Pickup ONLY option.? This is because, if it shows another postage option they may not see that they have a Local Pickup ONLY product in their cart and expect that I can post everything for a parcel rate for example.? I would assume that if the customer removes the Local Pickup ONLY item from their cart that it would revert to a parcel or letter rate as the case may be??? The same applies to a Bulky Item. I need when a bulky item is added to the cart that is the only option for the whole order.

    For the Local Pickup Only, I have tried following the third restriction that I set up as I thought it was the same, but it is not working correctly.

    For shipping class = Not all items in package (listing all classes except for Local Pickup Only), it shows Local Pickup Only option in Cart but if I add another item that normally would go parcel post it says 'enter your address to view shipping options' instead of still showing Local Pickup Only.

    If I try Shipping class = Not in package (listing all classes except for Local Pickup Only) it shows Flat Rate Parcel Rate/Express and Local Pickup.

    I would assume that Bulky Item Rate would follow the Local Pickup Only scenario if I can get that right!

    I hope that all makes sense.? Its absolutely doing my head in.?

    Kind regards Robyn

    Okay, while I am waiting to see if anyone can help me, I am still working on it. Currently I have a Local Pickup Only item in the cart and it says the shipping is Local Pickup only as the option YAY!. If I put a letter rate item in the cart it still says Local Pickup Only, all the way up to 8 letter items. On the 8th it says to enter address for shipping items. If I add a parcel rate item to the Local Pickup Only item, it says straight away to enter an address. I have this option unchecked in the settings so it shouldnt ask for an address. I am a little bit miffed that I can’t get technical support for this extension especially after paying AUD$173 for it just because my website is not online. I cannot put it online, as I have another website that is running while I build this, and also the main reason is that I can’t put it online WITHOUT SHIPPING as all my items will have some form of conditional shipping. I don’t really think my website needs to be up and running to help with the setting up of restrictions. If I can’t get any help within the next couple of days I will have to get a refund as my other website expiry date is looming and I will need to come up with a plan B.

    Hi there @littlecrookedhouse2023

    I understand that you were having issues in getting Conditional Shipping and Payments to work for your needs in isolating a cart to only show a local pick-up method, if such an item is in the cart.

    This should be possible, and I’m not able to locate a ticket with us on Woo.com regarding your query. Can you please share the ticket reference number with us, so that we can check further on this query with you?

    Kind regards,
    Sven
