Urgent, I keep on getting logged off, I have to login 3 or 4 times to do anythin

  • I keep on getting logged off when I am administering my blog. I may hit edit, then I go to the login screen. I have to login maybe 2 or 3 or more times before the admin screen comes back up. At first I was not having this problem. Now it is happening with almost everything I do.

    What can be going on?

  • have you recently changed broswers try clearing your cache and manually deleting your cookies?? and when you say everything is it happening on other website logins to our just your yahoo.

    This problem is happening on WordPress. I had the problem with 2.12 I just upgraded to 2.7.1, everything was fine, I installed a couple of plugins and not I am having horrible problems.

    Everytime I try to do something, I get logged off, and have to login 3 or 4 times to get back in. This is a weird problem that has happened with multiple versions.

    I just did a search, and apparently this is a well known problem and not just happening with me.

    Could this be a bug?

    I run another blog with B2evolution software and never have a problem logging into the control panel, nor getting booted out. This is not rocket science and I have a lot investted in my blog. Something must be amiss here. I will try firefox and see what happens.

    You installed a few plugins. You’re now having a problem.

    What does that tell you? Is it WordPress – or is it a plug-in?

    Well I do not seem to be having the problem currently with Firefox. Only I.E.

    I am now doing a full backup before installing any plug in.

    I guess for now I will have to administer the Blog with Firefox, although the majority of my readers will be using I.E.

    God only help us when I.E. 8 comes out. I hear even the MSN site does not work with I.E. 8.

    I run an internet directoy with software that also does not let me administer with anything but Firefox.

    IE sucks.
