I have made a csv of products with variations. The two fields which are confusing me no end are ID and SKU.

I leave the id field blank and for the SKU, I enter 1 to 126 (there are 126 rows). In the parent field I mention SKU-1, SKU-22, etc. for the variations (link to the variable). However, when I import, only about 5 rows (variables -main products) get imported. Even when later I try to update by clicking the update existing products option, no updation takes place (variations do not get added) and I get the message in the logs as ‘No matching Products to Update’.

Why is this happening? Please help me fix this.

    Thanks

I would like to add that when I import the csv to add the product, it shows all 125 products imported but as said earlier only 5 variables appear in the csv when I export it. Besides, it shows out of stock for all 5 products in the WooComm dashboard. I have marked in_stock as 1 in all rows. I am puzzled why it shows out of stock.

    Hi @mjaitly123

    Thanks for reaching out!

As a first step, can you please confirm how are you importing products to your site thru CSV here? Is it thru the built-in Product CSV Importer and Exporter? If so, can you please share with us the CSV file you are using so that we could check this further?

Otherwise, if this was added thru a third-party plugin or a custom code, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

    Thanks!

    Hi @mjaitly123 ,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

    Cheers!
