Logging back in after PHP change messed up website

  • Following a change to PHP imposed by my ISP (Ionos), my login to the Wordpres site behind my website dbkgroup.org is unreachable It says “Error:?Cookies are blocked due to unexpected output.?” How do I fix this when I cannot log in. I use Chrome and my email is [ email deleted, never post that ] – many thanks to any lifesavers out there…

    There are a LOT of bad actors out there who claim to want to help you.

    It looks like this plugin is the problem wp-content/plugins/wp-filemanager

    Try contacting your host and ask them to rename that directory or if you can access your server file system, rename filemanager to filemanager-old.

    Once that is done, see if you can log into the site.

    Sorry about posting email. Meanwhile I got help and fixed it, but surely wordpress plugins should not be doing this just because a PHP version changes…?
