Today I received a complaint that someone wanted to join my community but can’t complete the payment. I tried it out and indeed, after hitting the paypal button I get the 404-error.

I don’t understand what is happening because nothing has changed.

    After hitting the paypal button:

    What’s not:

    1. Plugin conflict
    2. Broken permalink

After switching from sandbox to live the issue is solved. Weird, what is going on. The user who tried to sign up, in the admin section, it says “token” in yellow label??

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting the Paid Memberships Pro team. I’m glad to hear you were able to resolve this issue.

I’m not sure why it all of a sudden you were receiving a 404 error for your checkout. If you are running caching on your site, I recommend working through this guide – https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/advanced/caching/

The “Token” status on orders means that the person made it to the PayPal Checkout screen but did not complete their purchase.

    Kind Regards,

That’s because he never reach the paypal checkout page.
