URGENT REQUEST: Contact Form 7 – Not working after recent update

The latest version of Contact Form 7 uses Recaptcha V3.

You’ll need to create new V3 keys in your Recaptcha account and add them to your contact form 7 integrations.

Thanks for the fix. I’ve tried this – however, Contact 7 not allowing me to remove Recaptcha V3 keys. It tells me the link has expired every time I try.

@jonoduguid If you have the WordPress Notification Bar plugin installed, you will need to deactivate that first. It looks like some kind of conflict between the two plugins. I’ve raised a support thread with them but so far there’s no response.

If you do not have this plugin installed it may be beneficial to list the plugins you do have activated, maybe we can replicate the issue.

@howdy_mcgee Thanks for the feedback. I have Popups – WordPress Popup on the site, which I guess is similar to the WordPress Notification Bar. I tried deactivating it, to remove the keys, but didn’t have any luck there. Other plugins are the general ones that come with Visual Composer (which incl Contact 7).

@jonoduguid You can install the WordPress Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin to safely narrow down which plugin is causing the issue. When in troubleshooting mode all active plugins will be deactived ( for the admin only ) and you can enable them one by one until you find the plugin causing the issue.

Once found you can open a support thread with the plugin developer through their forums and see if they can fix the issue.

@howdy_mcgee I managed to remove the keys whilst in trouble shooting mode. Thought I’d try it first before activating the other plugins and it worked, so never got any further – as there was no need to. Thanks so much for your help.
