We are writing to report a critical issue with our website’s SEO titles. We are using the latest version of the Yoast SEO plugin, but recently, none of our custom SEO titles are displaying on the frontend of our website.

Here’s a breakdown of the problem:

    • We have created and assigned unique SEO titles to our website pages in the Yoast editor backend.
    • However, on the live website, only the default titles are appearing.

    We have confirmed the following:

    • We are using the latest version of the Yoast SEO plugin.
    • The custom SEO titles are correctly saved and visible in the backend editor.

This issue is causing significant problems for our website’s search engine optimization (SEO). Without proper SEO titles, search engines may not be able to accurately understand the content of our pages, which can negatively impact our search rankings.

We kindly request your urgent assistance in resolving this issue. Please advise on how to ensure our custom SEO titles display correctly on the frontend of our website.

    Hi @hellowpexperts

Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty-Two.

Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

It seems you no longer have the Yoast SEO plugin on your site, so we’ll mark the topic here as resolved. We can’t access log in credentials to your live/staging site on the forum. You might want to consider Yoast SEO Premium for personal premium support so we can take a closer look at this.
