URGENT, slider won’t scroll since recent update

In follow up to this ticket (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/ajax-breaks-the-product-slider/), the layout now stays fine when the cart updates, but since the cart keeps finishing ajax operations every few seconds (maybe it is checking for something by ajax every few seconds), the layout of the slider is reset every few seconds, making it impossible to scroll to the next item as it is just reset in a second.
