Urgent: State dropdown doesn’t show on first load

    Hi. On the first time you reach checkout the State field shows as a text field so it’s not possible to choose a state. This means the customer has issues with shipping as shipping options are not shown. However if you refresh the page the State field shows normally as a dropdown. You can try in the link I provide:

    1. Add product to cart
    2. Proceed to checkout
    3. Check state field
    4. Refresh page
    5. Check state field again

    Site switched to Twenty Sixteen Theme. Every plugin off except Woo. Woo, theme and wordpress updated to last version. Definetely a Woo issue.

    Please solve this! It’s a huge conversion killer.

    Hi @bacp,

    I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with the plugin!

    There seems to be a bug describing the exact same behavior – https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/20640 – from what I see, it was resolved with the 3.5.0 WooCommerce version.

    Can you please confirm that you have the latest WooCommerce plugin version installed?

    If yes, please reply back with the System Status report. It will help us determine what might be wrong with your site’s configuration. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it here.
