The plugin works great for authenticating all of our users against our WP user db, thanks.

However we have created a URL CNAME to send our users to at support.domain.com.

After our users authenticate they are re-directed back to domain.freshdesk.com

Is there a way to send users to support.domain.com after authentication instead?

    Thanks,
    JL

    Hi @joelyons23

Currently there is no way to do that. Since for authentication the actual subdomain has to be used. I had tried using Cname for my own needs but it did not work out hence had not done any further work on this plugin.
Over next few weeks will try communicating with FreshDesk to see if there is a way.

Any update on this being fixed?

    Hello @jarrett Gucci,

I haven’t been able to work on it. However FreshDesk.com has released an official plugin at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/freshdesk-support/ which you could try.

Your plugin is way better. I actually was able to make it work by editing the line in the the code that calls for the Freshdesk URL. Instead of it being Something.Freshdesk.com since it is a vanity URL, I put in the whole thing like Support.Something.com.

This could probably be a quick update for you on this plugin to just change the code where users put in their Freshdesk URL.

Hey Thanks Jarrett. That seems like a good idea. I’ll work on this and release an update soon.
