URL Coupon on Empty Cart When Logged Out

    Greetings devs,

    Thank you for the great software.

    The URL Coupon feature does not add the coupon to an empty cart when logged out. Curiously, loading the URL a second time will successfully add the coupon to an empty cart.

    The issue does not manifest when the customer is logged in.

    I only have two modules loaded: URL Coupons and Store Credit.

    Hi @jamesjosephfinn,

    I’m sorry for misunderstanding your inquiry. It seems that your Coupon URL might have been cache by a caching plugin or your hosting provider. Could you please exclude any links with /coupon/ on your caching plugin caching rule or ask your hosting provider to do so? This will allow the non-logged-in to use the Coupon URL as well.

    @fauzanade thank you! Can you also point me in the direction of developer hooks that are available? I’m trying to hide the account area Store Credit tab if the customer has $0 credit. Customers don’t like to feel like they’re missing out. Or perhaps the ability to hook into this tab’s content area with conditional messages depending upon balance. Your plugin already has an option to hide the Store Credit field during checkout if the balance is $0; but this same UX also applies to the account area. Thanks again.
