URL directs to wrong/deleted Homepage

    Hi guys!

    So here’s my problem:
    – Created a temporary homepage/landingpage
    – Built the rest of the site and new homepage
    – Set the newly made homepage as homepage and changed the temporary homepage back to non-published page
    – When I use the URL, the new homepage shows up and I can navigate through the website
    – When others use the URL, the old homepage shows up.
    – I even placed a button on the old homepage that directs to the new homepage to test, but it just loops around and gives me the old homepage again. It’s weird that even though the old homepage is unpublished, it still showed the newly placed button..

    Hope I explained it well enough, otherwise; sorry, I’ll try again.
    I just hope there is someone who can help me with this! Thank you in advance ??

    Have You set the New Homepage as your Homepage in Setting —> Reading —> Static Pages –> Select the homepage

    Thanks for the quick reply.
    Yes, I’ve read that somewhere else so I double checked if I did it. Trough Settings,Reading, Static Page, the correct Homepage is selected.

    Still no luck ??

    Do you use any cache Plugin or Cache mechanism?

    Can you share you Url? to check.

    I can see the page with the button, With the word Launching soon.
    This is your homepage, Button also directs me to the same page.

    Cache mechanism which is used speed up your site.W3 Total cache plugin or Supercache plugin or CDN

    Have You set the New Homepage as your Homepage in Setting —> Reading —> Static Pages –> Select the homepage

    After settings the homepage Dont forget save the changes.
    SAVE CHANGES

    Exactly, that’s the old/temporary page I mentioned which I have since deleted (so it’s extra weird it is still showing up).

    And yes, I’ve done that and saved it. Behind the title of the page on the ‘pages’ page, it says: frontpage. So I’m guessing it saved successfully.

    So still, no luck.. What about the caching you were talking about?

    Sorry here that. Without looking at your Dashboard no one solves this issue. Most answers are based assumptions only. So,Get some technical Support to solve this issue as soon as Possible.
