URL distorted with new version 0.8.13

    In my welcome message by the boot I coded it like this:

    <a href="https://science-network.tv/introduction-to-research/"<span style="color:yellow;">Introduction to research</a> (Click on this link).

    This meant that “Introduction to research” was visible as a clickable link but the actual link was not visible. Now with the latest update the URL is shown and after that the title but the title is no longer clickable. The URL is quite long so it makes the message much longer and much more messy. I have URLs like this in most of my messages (any many URL are very long) so this cause a lot of problems.

    It was much better as before! Please revert that change or provide a switch in the admin panel so those of us who want the previous functionality back (when an URL is not automatically shown) can have it.

    Hello!

    HTML is a tag-based language and an HTML tag consists of an opening and a closing tag that surrounds some content.
    </span> (closing tag for <span>) and > (for <a> opening tag) are missing in your code (sample screenshot).
    It works for me (sample screenshot).

    Thanks! I see. Sorry I missed that. Works fine when I add according to your suggestion. I simply need to change all URLs. Thanks for replying quickly. …and thanks for a good plugin ??
