• Resolved paperwork queen

    Hello,

I turned this project into my professor before Midnight Pacific Time, and for some reason the home page I created can’t be seen with my URL https://www.desertsunsetgirl.com unless I add /home to the end like this: https://www.desertsunsetgirl.com/home. This means to see my portfolio you have to know to add the /home to then access the menu to get to the portfolio or add the /portfolio to the end to see it direct. This makes it complicated and I am not certain my professor will find what is supposed to be graded.

I have troubleshooted under Pages > home > quick edit > and then changing up the title and the slug and then one or the other with no luck. I also tried the “order” as well as the “parent” type, as well as going into the menus.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thank you.

STATS: I am on a MAC Catalina 10.15.7, Using Chrome 96.0.4664.93, and building page with updated DIVI custom on home page, and template on portfolio page.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I just figured it out! I went into the SideBar to DIVI > Theme Customizer > Homepage Settings > and changed from “Your Latest Posts” to “a Static Page” and then under homepage section did the dropdown for page menu list and added “home” and then republished. Now the website works with the main URL and you can access the portfolio page through the menu bar.

Looks fine to me. The homepage opens without /home added to the url: https://snipboard.io/dtwTge.jpg

If I add /home to the url, it redirects to https://www.desertsunsetgirl.com.

Try viewing through an incognito borwser session in Chrome.
