URL & IP Address Point to WordPress Site

  • Hi,

    I have a client whose business network only allows website IP addresses through their web browsers. I made their new website in wordpress. Externally the want the URL to show to customers, but internally they want to use the IP address so they can make updates to the website. I have tried several plugins to allow multiple domains, but the IP address doesn’t work. Any help would be much appreciated.

  • I think you will need to go back to them on this one and explain that they can only use one url for a WordPress site, so it needs to be an IP address or a domain name. It can’t be both,.
