URL is offline

  • Hello. I’ve recently installed this plugin as I’m moving away from Instagram and moving toward iCloud for my personal photo-blogging since I use my iPhone for everything, and this plugin sounds like exactly what I’m looking for! Unfortunately, when I tried to import the photos, I get the error: ‘It seems that the shotostream URL is offline’ — btw, that’s not my typo, just exactly what the error says.

    I’ve verified that the stream is, in fact, online by visiting in a browser — even directly through the link within the plugin settings.

    I’m extremely new to this plugin, so I may have missed something simple. Could someone please give some guidance?

    Interesting. Can you share the photostream link with me (or create a new photostream with some dummy images that exhibits the same problem?)

    I’ll work on getting the spelling error fixed. It’s actually an error that’s used in 4 separate places, and could be a number of things. I want to make sure, first, that there’s not something in the URL or other data about the photostream that’s causing the plugin to not be able to find everything before moving on to seeing whether there’s something more complicated going on (e.g. your PHP setup has networking disabled, etc)

    Hi, Since 2 days I have the same problem. There are no new images. After deactivating and deleting the plugin, i tried to reinstall it. Installation works fine but I can not import my stream it shows me also the error: ‘It seems that the shotostream URL is offline’.

    any solution?

    Hello,

    I’m going to be working on rewriting parts of the codebase due to a string or recent problems people have been having with the plugin after a lot of UI work (including pretty imports.) I’m hesitant about just reverting the code because I suspect people like the new additions, but the functionality has become unreliable which is, of course, problematic.

    yesterday the plugin ran again and it posted the pics. Then tthe error came back. this morning the plugin worked again. ups and downs ??
