I am hoping someone can help me understand why this happens. I am using WordPress, with Elementor and Yoast SEO. I have a page on my site on which I changed the URL, the page title and description in Yoast. However when I share this page URL on Facebook it displays the OLD title, description and instead of using my featured photo it uses my logo. I have no idea how to fix this. Please help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I believe I’m having a similar problem. I’ve changed the page title and description for Yoast Social to be different from the Yoast SEO title and description. However, I do not see tags for the social meta within the page source.

Debugging for Facebook, X, et al. shows the SEO meta, not the Social meta. They’re all clearly scraping the SEO meta.

    Hello @thewildbonbon

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. I checked the page source and ran the URL through Facebook sharing debugger and what’s in the page source is shown on Facebook. Since I am unfamiliar with your site, could you point out the disparity? See screenshot.

Thanks for looking Maybellyne. I ended up rewriting the page so now it is working.
