to clarify myself a bit further, when looking at the source I see the categorie sort function is build with “li” and “rel” is it possible to create an url out of this anchor link?

Hello dear you mean make category button as link button?

yes exactly, I’d like to have the categories filter in my main navigation menu.

if you make category button to go on link, then the whole idea of categories will be lost, your images wouldn’t be divides into categories, you just will divide them as new portfolios

OK, but I’d like all my projects on 1 page. I only have 3 categories, “All” “Fruit” “Meat”.

but in my nav menu i’d like a link to the categories. So the project page opens with Fruit or Meat sorted. And the user can also see ALL projects on one page after viewing “Fruit” or “Meat”

is it possible or am I wasting my time here? (wasted the complete weekend on this ….)

Dear user in this case I can suggest you to create two Portfolios
one with ALL and FRUIT categories
second with ALL and MEAT categories
on one menu page put first Portfolio on other menu page put the second portfolio

yeah but I want MEAT and FRUIT on the same page. In your example that is not possible.

It would be possible if it would automatically sort MEAT or FRUIT on opening the webpage.

Ok I understand you need to have 2 pages with same portfolio and on one page default category was “meat” and on second page default category was “fruit”. Am I right?
I think our developers can modify something like that/ Please contact them by [email protected]
