I have WPS Hide Login running on three separate WordPress sites, but it has entirely stopped working on one of them.

All three websites are running WordPress Version 6.7.2

All three are running Version 1.9.17.1 of WPS Hide Login

I’ve checked in the database and all three websites have a correctly configured “whl_page” entry.

But on one of the websites, if the plugin is active at all I cannot access the login page. It gives me a 404 error no matter what I type in. It just doesn’t work. I even tried setting it to /wp-admin/ and it still sends me to a 404 error.

As soon as I deactivate the plugin, I can use /wp-admin/ as per usual… but my goal is to hide that login.

I have tried saving permalinks again, clearing cache, opening in Incognito, different browsers, entirely different computers — nothing works for my one website.

I have also deleted the plugin and re-installed it three times.

    What gives?

    Hello,

Thanks for using WPS Hide Login.

Did you try to deactivate every plugins except WPS Hide Login to detect any conflict ?

I haven’t tried it, but I have not added any new plug-ins. It just stopped out of the blue after working for more than a year.

I’ve just decided to use a different admin login hide plugin for this one website.
