URL NOT LOADING

Hi i have a problem with my wordpress self hosted blog.. i made a post called https://www.example.com/example witch i never published.. now i made a page called https://www.example.com/example this page does not load up… i think the problem is wordpress thinks that the url is already taken…. so how do i get around this as i need that example as the page name ??? Thanks
