• I enter a custom URL into the CDN field, save and re-check the front end of my site, but all of the URLs are appending the CDN URL on to the end of it.

For example, my CDN url is as follows:
    example-cdn-link.cloudfront.net

I enter that into the CDN field on the settings page, reload my site and all of my URLs are now as follows:

    https://www.mysite.com/example-cdn-link.cloudfront.net/wp-includes/css/dashicons.min.css?ver=4.6

Appending https:// or www or both, doesn’t resolve the issue. Whatever is entered into that field, simply gets appended to the URL. Since it’s intended to replace the URL, how can I go about resolving this so my assets are properly loaded from the CDN?
