URL seems invalid

I got a “URL seems invalid” when I write “https://www.aaa-aaa.com”. The problem comes with the hyphen. When I enter “https://www.aaaaaa.com” everything works as expected (no validation problems).
The field in the form that we’re using is:
[url* your-url class:form-control placeholder “Company Web Site”]
Any clue about it? I’m using latest version of CF7.
