    Hi there!
    thanks for this great plugin.

    I wish that some non-admin users were able to create short links.
    Currently, only admin role is able to do so. URL Shortify menu entry does not even show for Author and Editor.
    It would be awesome to non-privileged users were able to short links without having to grant super powers to just accomplish this task. Enable non-admins could be an option.
    Thanks a lot

    Hi,

    Glad to hear that you like this plugin.

    With regards to your query for allow non-admin users to create short links, just want to update you that we have added the Access Control feature in URL Shortify PRO using which you can allow non-admin roles to create/ manage links, groups, etc.. (see image below)

    Hope that helps.

    That’s great to hear @mikeatkaizencoders !
    We will be looking into that.
    I wonder, and please forgive if it is a noob question, if it affects the way cards are shown in social media.
    For instance, if I post a youtube link on facebook, it will create a card with a video (the same for skype, twitter…). Would the shortened link change that behavior? Or will it work just like the direct link to it?
    Thanks for clarifying it.

    @danporto You are welcome ??

    No. Short links shared on Facebook also create a card same as how the direct link creates. It doesn’t change the behavior.

    Hope that helps.

    BTW, if you like the plugin and support, please leave us a 5 stars review. It will help other WordPress users to assess the plugin.
