url showing 'site under development'

    Hi,

    I have installed the responsive theme and activated it, yet when I go to type in my registered url ‘www.forsterbuilder.co.uk’ it shows up as a site under development and not the responsive theme home page.

    Can anyone help?

  • If you just recently registered that domain name it may not be fully propagated yet.

    Is WP installed properly on the server (and running) and is it in the root (i.e. not in a sub-directory). You might also check as to whether your hosting company has a file in the root such as index.html.

    Perhaps from this I shall wait for tomorrow, then should I consider
    1. Re-installing WP?
    2. I’m not quite sure what you mean in terms of ‘is it in the root directory’?

    I can contact the hosting company and ask them whether they have a file in the root index?

    yes forsterbuilder you should reinstall wordpress again.watch some youttube tutorial otherwise.i haave also got these problems when i was new to wordpress.
