URL Smush API

  • Hello
    I have a little problem using Smush, our server has all external traffic blocked, so the plugin cannot connect to the Smush API, could you give me the API URL to deliver to Server Manager and let him whitelist this URL?

    Hi @eborbon,

    Could you ask your host to put this IP, used by Smush, on allow list and see if it works fine after that?

    It seems that it does not work, but apparently it is a problem of our server
    this error appears when optimizing an image
    WP_SMUSH_API_TIMEOUT ', 150
    So I will contact our server manager to optimize the timeout and other things

    Do let us know if that works once you check with your host on it.
    Can you also try adding the following function to the wp-config.php file before the /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */ line and check if that works:
    define('WP_SMUSH_API_TIMEOUT', 300);
