    Hello,

I will choose to have a page inside my site as my homepage. The thing is, that I also need to have the url that directs to the default homepage (chronological order posts).

Where can I get the new URL that directs visitors there?

    Thank you!

    Ricky

When setting the page to homepage and page for post viewing, you select what page you want for posts.

So, go to Wp-admin -> Pages, view THAT page, and voila, there’s the URL of the posts.

As far as your “home page” goes, your domain name will point to that automatically (since home page is interchangable with index.php which is what comes up by default as the first thing viewed when browsing to your site.)

I think I did not explain myself correctly.

I know how to get the url of a WP page. What I don′t know how to do is find the URL to the default WP blog home page (posts in chronological order) after setting a page as the home page.

If you create a Home page and use that as static page and you will need to create another blank page name it what ever you want and then select that page as post page and url for that page will be yourdomainname/pagename.

Haven′t been able to do this. What I want is to have a URL pointing to me latest posts. Although that is the default homepage for a WP blog, I chose to have a static page as my homepage. HOwever, I need to be able to have a url that directs people to my latest posts. How can I do this? Thanks.

You can make your latest post sticky when posting.

Still I think you have not understood what I need.

What I need is a URL. That′s it. A URL that sends people to my latest posts. Where can I find that?

    Thank you.

All you need to do is check at top of post in edit mode there is url there or open the post and copy the url from address bar.

I know that. That will give me the URL of the latest post not POSTS. I don′t want the url to one post. I want the url to all my latest posts (a page that shows my 10 latest posts in chronological order). By default, wordpress shows all latest posts as the homepage, but the reason I need a new url to this, is because I chose to have a static page as a url.

ok so you using a static home page and you want to create a blog page where all your posts are.

create a blank page and name it what ever you want and publish.

Click on settings and reading and select the page you created as post page now you should have that page in menu.
