• So the main menu of this site has 6 links. 3 of the 6 are to the same page but to anchor points. For example:

    /mypage#anchor1
    /mypage#anchor2
    /mypage#anchor3

When I click those links (from anywhere) it loads the page, scrolls to the location, but the menu does not highlight.

IF I load the page direct /mypage and redo my links to

    #anchor1
    #anchor2
    #anchor3

When I click them the page scrolls and the main menu highlights.

So the plugin does not work like I was hoping, or I am not setting it up correctly?

Now, that said, I do have Elementor, but that doesn’t seem to matter with the situation. I did see a suggestion, and tested without success, to enable “Prevent other scripts from handling plugin’s links (if possible)”

    Hello,

There’s a chance that you need to add the trailing slash in links URL in order to make the theme highlight them. For example set the first link URL to:

    /mypage/#anchor1

    and see if it works.

    Let me know ??
