URL via Shortcode?

    I don’t understand what you need. The plugin is for inserting featured images, and a post can have one featured image only (at least, as defined in WordPress by default). Why do you need shortcodes?

    I’d like to use images from Amazon and I use a plugin that uses shortcodes to get the URL.

    I still don’t understand exactly what you need. Shortcodes are inserted within the post’s content, aren’t they? Then I don’t see what they have to do with the featured images.

    Anyway, I’m afraid I won’t be able help you: We want our plugin to do one thing only, and to do it properly. And that is defining featured images using the URL of an image. Any other thing is, in principle, out of the scope of our plugin.
