    Hi Phil_maly,

    Basically nothing is prevent them from doing that. The plugin make sure that the file / link is protected until after purchase. After that the user uses the WordPress framework to get the file. In my opinion, file protection should be included natively in WordPress. But until that happens I would recommend using something like: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/media-vault/
