My site URLs are without the Trailing slash”/” –
    Eg: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/device-encryption-in-windows-10

When a visitor adds a trailing slash to it and visits the link, the page without the trailing slash is rendered automatically. This is normal behavior for my blog.

Now when I install Cache Enabler plugin, both the URLs with or without the Trailing slash “/” get shown – and thats bad.

So what do I need to do in the plugin, so I get back the old normal behavior? That is – with or without the Trailing slash “/” – the actual permalink which is WITHOUT the “/” gets rendered.

Right now I have disabled the plugin.

    Thank you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I’ve been able to replicate this issue in certain cases (depending on the website configuration). I’ve not been able to identify the exact cause yet, however, I do know that it’s not occurring in all cases. This issue needs to be investigated further. To continue this I’ve opened an issue on GitHub.

We’ve updated how trailing slashes are handled. Both permalink structures, whether it’s with or without a trailing slash, will allow the cache to be bypassed to allow the redirect. This will be released in our next version (1.4.0).

    Good to hear that.
