• I am having serious trouble developing a name for a page on my website.

I need to name my page something like this this:

    203.28d.myftpupload.com/?page_id=191&show_only_sold

    or
    203.28d.myftpupload.com/?page_id=191?show_only_sold

My problem is whenever I type in the ampersand or question mark, it disappears and I end up with this (with the ampersand or question mark missing):

    203.28d.myftpupload.com/?page_id=191show_only_sold

I think its something to do with permalinks, but I don’t know much about using them. Any help appreciated.

    Hi,

I take it this is you trying to make the change to the permalink option on the page it self (the one under the title field) ?

This field will strip out special characters, only numbers, letters, underscores and dashes are permitted in this field, so anything like ? and & will be filtered out of there.

What are you trying to use these URLs for and why do you need to edit these links specifically in this manner? (Knowing this will help us more efficiently help you)

Thank you for the advice. I figured it out using a custom link. I needed to do it this way to auto-generate a specific page. It worked like a charm.
