It seems to be fine on some other people’s blogs, though! It’s driving me mad!

How are you formatting the shortcode? [bcct tweet="Tweet text here"] or are you adding the url=no to the shortcode?

and can you send along a link to your site?

    Hi Ben,

Just the bcc tweet text, example [bctt tweet=”Your self care rhythm is the tune of your soul. Do you listen?”]

That’s why it’s puzzling me so much!

    My site is: https://www.anastasiaamour.com

    Thanks for your help ??

When I look at the boxes that currently exist on your site, they are acting correctly. Are you trying to add a new one in a draft or something? Also, you can try toggling on and off the short URL option to see if that changes anything.

Also, make sure you’ve updated the plugin to the latest version. (I’m sure you’ve done that, but I didn’t want to leave it unsaid.)

Really? This is what I see: https://prntscr.com/61799z

I’ve tried toggling on/off the short URL feature and it’s definitely the latest version. Could it be caused by any other plugins interfering with it?

All my plugins are up to date, i should also add!

Yeah. It’s working for me. I’m on my phone or I’d attach a picture. Try logging out of WordPress and then clicking a link.

    Weird.

    (@anastasiaamour)

Still doesn’t work when I log out of WordPress.

I’m using Chrome and have also checked in FF and Safari, both logged in and logged out of WordPress. Has anyone experienced this before that you know of? Really need to find a resolution to this (unless it’s only me who’s seeing it as not working properly and it’s absolutely fine for everyone else, but how would I know!)

This is definitely a first. I just tried on my wife’s phone, and they are working there too. Can you reach out to some friends and try? My only guess is that it’s geographical.

    Again, weird.

make sure to clear all your cookies as well. It could be a simple caching issue.

It’s so odd, I’ve checked with a few friends from the US and they can all see it. I’ve cleared my cache and still nothing. It doesn’t work on my phone either.

Can you tell me why it would be geographical? Sorry, I don’t understand why that would make an impact

(Thanks for all your help so far btw, I know this is a strange one!)

    AHA!

I figured it out. We are clicking different links. When you hover over the actual text and click, it works. when you click the “Click To Tweet” text, it is broken, because I accdentally broke it.

Give me about an hour to release a patch. Now that I see the problem, it’s a quick fix.

    Thanks for your patience!

…or give me 11 minutes. I’ve fixed the issue, and released a new version of the plugin. Update to 3.2.2 and all your problems will be solved. (well, all of your problems with my plugin. I’m not a therapist or a life coach!)

    Thanks again!
