Us/show only search field and search results

    Hi Tobias,

    I would like to use Tablepress, but I’m not sure if the plugin is capable of want I need. I would like to show only the search box of a table and – when the user starts to type – the search result(s). Is that possible in an easy way? How can I do this? I only found hints here, that would be too complicated for me.

    You have probably found hints like?https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/hide-table-before-search/??

    That approach still applies. However, if you need more specific help for that, I’d need to ask you to look into getting a?TablePress premium license, as this feature is not part of the free version of TablePress. I can therefore not offer support for this here in the forums (due to the forums rules), but could do that as part of the direct priority email support that is part of the premium licenses.     Ok, thank you very much. May be it would be nice to make this a default feature as no table plugin offers this. There are quite many usecases where you do not like to see the full table, but just a search field and the results. just my 50 cent. So thanks again, cheers Michael

    Hi Michael,

    thanks for your feedback! For now, I’ll keep this separate, as it requires a little bit of custom integration, but I’ll be looking for ways to directly integrate it into the TablePress premium versions!
