• In my carreer I’ve build over 50+ websites with Elementor (Pro).

The free version of Elementor is incredibly limited. You’d need several plug-ins to even remotely come close to a nice, easy and intuative web-building experience.

After the latest updates (from 3.12.x) the color scheme is just horrible with bad contrast in de Editor panels for Light mode aswell as Dark mode. Support is just saying ‘The new colors are better adapted to Dark and Light mode, and are optimized for accessibility.’ but anyone with eyes can see that’s clearly not the case. Github has several requests and issues with the same remarks.

An honest review would be 2 stars for the base free version of Elementor, 4 stars for Pro as many functions are added and support (in general) is fast with replies and fixes. I just really dislike the color scheme as for now, so 1 star to balance it out and to raise awareness.

  • Hi there,

Thank you for your feedback, I’ve added your concerns to the feature request regarding our new color scheme. We understand it’s not at everyones linking and this concern is now with our designers and developers to find the best solution. As for Elementor Core version, it is there to help you make simple websites, or more complex ones with additional plugins, while our Elementor Pro version really empowers web creators to create full-featured websites often without a need for additional addons.

    Igor, Customer Experience
