    1) How do I get the maintenance mode to turn off?
    I’ve tried the date field, setting it to a few minutes in the future, it stays on.
    I’ve tried putting 3 minutes with the date field blank, it stays on.

    2) How do I use the “%1$s” tags? With the Date field set, I get a blank line and today’s date in long format. With 3 minutes set, I get “3 minutes”. Can I get when the maintenance mode is scheduled to end?

    3) Are there hooks that can be used to turn maintenance mode on and off from within other plugins?
    Examples of valid PHP code, using WordPress functions and variables to get the table prefixes, for turning on maintenance mode?

    WP Maintenance Mode version 1.8.11, WordPress 3.9.1 in multi-site mode.
