• Hi all,

I asked this in the WP Super Cache plugin support forum a week ago, no answer yet so I thought maybe someone would have a suggestion on this here?

Could someone let me know if it would make sense to use something like “a3 Lazy Load” with this cache? I haven’t used a cache till now and don’t know if using a lazy load would be good or bad or not be worth having yet another plugin running.

And then, if using both, would it make sense to set it to lazy load only iframe videos but not images or…?

I don’t have many images but some posts have a fair amount of text, outgoing links and iframe videos.

I did read a way to post iframe videos where it just puts a picture and doesn’t load the vid until the picture is clicked but it looked to me like it was just using the vid link and I like to use youtube’s “privacy-enhanced mode” embed code (no cookie) iframe and so was hoping for some advice here on if I should add a lazy load plugin or just leave things be with the cache.

Hope I asked this in the right place in the forum.

    Thanks much.

    Hiya,

There’s no harm in using both, using it for images as well is advised (and the primary use for them), and this shouldn’t cause any issues with any caching plugins if the lazy-loader is doing its job correctly.

Cool, thanks, I’ll give one a try.
I don’t have that many images, so it’s vids that are the slowest but I’ll see what happens.
    Thanks again.
