Use a page as a frontpage for a seperate blog

    And thank you for taking the time to read my question!

    I use WordPress as a CMS for a webmagazine and now i want to have a blog that is writen by one spesiffic person to have its own page.

    So my question, is it possible to use a page as a secounf front page for a blog?

    Example: User enters url. “URL.com”
    and then clicks the link in the main menu and is sent to a page “URL.com->secound blog page”
    The thing is that i do not want the posts that is posted to be vissable on the front page. I do only want it to show on that seperate page.

    Was that understanable?

  • Is your front page a blog roll or a homepage? You can use settings to define Home page and Blog page.

    Or

    If you want your home page as a blog roll and another page as a blog roll. you could use a custom post type for this.
