Hi developer, first of all this is an amazing plugin.

But one thing I want you to do with this plugin is, could you please use “action scheduler API” instead of wp-cron.

Because action scheduler API can handle any number of tasks for schedule.

But wp-cron can create problem in such cases.

Action scheduler API is latest and modern way to schedule something in WordPress and woocommerce. This API is also provided by woocommerce/WordPress.

I am not a developer. But I have read about action scheduler API a lot during my research for schedule plug-ins.

Here is the link for your reference:

And you know what action scheduler is inbuilt in new versions of woocommerce:

    Hi @procontentxyz,

Sorry for such a late reply. For some reason, I didn’t get a notification from wp.org about your post :/ Let me read about the “Action Scheduler API” a bit, and I’ll get back to you asap.

    Hi @procontentxyz,

As promised, we’ve added the “Action Scheduler” to our plugin.

Please update the plugin to the latest v2.3.0, and then, in “WooCommerce > Settings > Order Status Rules > Advanced”, you will find new “Action Scheduler” options in the “Periodical Processing Options” subsection. It’s disabled by default, so you’ll need to enable the checkbox there. Also, you’ll probably want to disable the “WP cron” checkbox there as well.

Please give it a try and let me know if something is not working as expected.

Again, sorry for the initial delay. And if you like the plugin, please consider leaving me a rating.
