use apache config file rather than .htaccess

    I want to put the Apache directives for W3TC into an Apache config file (like httpd.conf) rather than into .htaccess. In fact, I’ve done that and the caching directives work fine from there. But the W3TC admin pages still keep nagging me to put those directives in .htaccess. How can I get W3TC to stop presenting these spurious error messages?
