Use as Thumbnail

  • I recently upgraded to 3.3 and now I can’t use the ‘Use as Thumbnail’ feature in the Media Gallery to assign pictures to my products. Now, the only two things I can do is ‘Insert into Post’ or ‘Delete’. What happened to the ‘Use as Thumbnail’ option? It now wants me to upload an image for every item I have. This is terrible because I want to be able to use one image for multiple products I have but it won’t let me do this. What can I do?

  • There has never been a ‘Use as Thumbnail’ feature in WordPress core. Perhaps this was being added by your theme or one of your plugins?

    Sorry, I didn’t specify what I was using (That was the first post I’ve ever made here). I’m using crafty-cart as the theme for my e-commerce site with the following plugins (A= Activated):

    Akismet
    Contact Form 7 (A)
    Contact Form 7 Modules: Hidden Fields (A)
    Contact Form 7 Modules: Send All Fields(A)
    Disable WordPress plugin Updates (A)
    Get the Image
    Hello Dolly
    List Tags
    Menubar (A)
    Stop IE6 (A)
    Wordpress Importer
    WP e-Commerce (A)
    WP Shipping Modules (A)
    WP PHP Widget (A)

    Please post in that plugin’s forum.
