use cart to sell one off items

    Hi
    I wanted to use this plug in on my site to sell one off handmade items. Can I make it so there is no quantity box shown when an item is added to the cart? How can I put a limit on available stock? In my case it would be just one item, so I would need it to say something like “sold” after one person has ordered an item and make it impossible for anybody else to add to cart and order the same thing again.
