Use case for service business with custom downloadable file as the output

My client sells a service that produces a downloadable pdf file as the product / final output. However, this is a custom file that is not immediately available to download – because it’s custom it requires several days to prepare.
Here’s more clarification on the use case:
1. Customer places an order for the service (there are several service “products” for the customer to choose from)
2. My client executes the service, which takes several days, and produces a custom downloadable PDF file(s) for the client to downloadIs it possible to use configure Woocommerce to work for this use case? If not, does anyone have a commerce solution recommendation for this use case?
