Hello, my wp says wp cron is disabled (from your plugin setting page) BUT i dont’ have any rule in wp-config that disable it.
Is there a where to use cron from server and not wp-cron? the export is so slow.

question2 is a way to see the slug of category and not just the name of category in filter? i have some category child with same name…

  • Hi lododicesimo,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Have you tried de-activating and re-activating the plugin? It should reconfigure the cron hooks/events when doing so.

We would not advise you to use the server-cron, it will slow down processing of the feed. See our blog post about this: https://adtribes.io/can-i-disable-the-wp-cron-and-run-a-server-cron-and-still-use-your-plugin/

Unfortunately it is not possible, as of yet, to see the category slug when creating a filter but we will consider adding it in one of our next releases.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

Hello, my server is premium and i use WP All export fine for other customer feed with server cron.So using cron in my case would Be fine. I Will try as u said anyway..

Slug would Be more important but if you Can not Is ok the counting item so i Can underetand anyway

    Thanks.

Using the server cron really isn’t advisable. This does not depend on having a premium or fast server either. Anyhow, you will find it will slow down the process.

We have pushed out a new release yesterday which now has the category slug behind the category name in the filter drop-down. Just update the plugin and you should be fine.

Hello, thanks yes now i see the slug is very clever like that.
But i have the problem that export return 0 product if i select a category with “include only” my target is to have feed of my product category that i have selected.. is ok have one feed with all category i select or one feed for category. but if i use filter doesen’t work. only exclude filter are ok!
    Can you fix it?
other problem is that i have always to deactivate and activate plugin to make it run after i change filters.

    Thanks!!
    M

    Hi,

Include only filters can only be used 1 time in a set of filters and rules. Hence, you cannot use mutiple include only filters in one product feed project.

Read our post on how to create a feed for just one product category here:
    https://adtribes.io/create-a-product-feed-for-one-specific-category/

    All the best

Hello, so before i have to create a full feed of all products (and make it run?) and after first run applay filter? or i can just create a new feed with filter on?

You can do both, both will work just fine.

sorry but it keep give me empty feed oly header section and no item in item part..
i am using google shopping template.

Did you fix the cron issue you originally started this issue with? Without a functioning WP-cron the product feed won’t update.

if i deactivate and then reactivate it looksthat works… but after the feed don’t show product ??

and now yes cron look ok:

    System check Status
    WP-Cron enabled True
    PHP-version sufficient True (7.2)
    Product feed directory writable True

After you disabled/enabled the plugin and with that re-set the cron hook and event you ofcourse still need to manually refresh the product feed or wait for the automated update to take place. Did you manually refresh the feed already?
