use during manual update?

    Firstly, thanks for rapid responses to previous questions.

    I’m now about to perform a Manual Update of WordPress from 4.2.2 to 4.2.3.

    The third step of the instructions in the Codex is to “Deactivate plugins”. So I’m wondering is it safe to leave this plugin activated during the update and will it work during the process?
