Use exclude flag only if user is not logged in
-
Hello everybody,
as there is no plugin which offers some permission settings or is not working anymore (like UAM) I just tried to implement some basic permissions. But because of lack PHP knowledge (I know some, but not much) I failed…
I tried to adjust NGG to only check for the exclude field if the current visitor is not logged into WP. In my use case this would really help me out and would be the 80% solution.
Sure, Having user groups and checkboxes for each user group if the image will be shown or not would be a lot nicer. Also expanding this to galleries, albums, tags and so on. But in my case this described basic thing would be a very good start.
Maybe also something which could be included in the official code?
Is anybody looking for something like this and maybe has more PHP knowledge than me and can help?
Thank you and cheers,
Martin
