  • Hey @manjii,

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

You should be able to select an existing pixel during setup if that pixel is associated with your Ad Account. Pixels created under a Business Manager account, on the other hand, can’t be used by Facebook for WooCommerce.

Could you please confirm whether the pixel you want to use is associated with your Ad Account? Is it available in the Facebook for WooCommerce setup tool?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

So it means that i have to create a new pixel to make it works right?

    I did try to setup with creating new pixel and follow the instruction from Add code via Partner integration, i choose woocommerce, then and im not sure about few things below after set up;

Error msg display Your API key is no longer valid. Please click “Settings > Advanced Options > Update Token”. https://prntscr.com/sclxgi

then when i click on it, it pop up and need to re-set again.https://prntscr.com/scm267
and when in Facebook Pixel i choose the new create pixel.

till the product part, i was stuck due to i do not want to import my product to fb at the moment as i already tick on Disable Product Sync with FB in advance setting, im not sure are these part gonna import my product FB page? https://prntscr.com/scmc50

    regards,
    Hwang

    Hey @manjii,

Yes, if you don’t have any existing pixels that you want to use associated with your Ad Account, you will need to create a new pixel.

The “Your API key is no longer valid” error may be due to using an older version of Facebook for WooCommerce – could you please confirm that you’re on the most up-to-date version of the plugin? If not, could you please update and let me know if you’re still seeing a similar error?

Finally, if you don’t want to maintain a synced catalog, you can disable the Enable product sync setting from the Facebook for WooCommerce settings once you’ve gone through the onboarding process. This will stop the regular catalog updates. If you’ve not connected the catalog to your Facebook Page shop, the products won’t be visible there. Connecting the catalog to the Page shop is a separate step, controlled outside Facebook for WooCommerce, so if you haven’t already set that up you shouldn’t see those products listed in the Facebook shop.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Cheers!
    Lindsey
