    Hi!

I am in search of a plugin I can use to display information on every product in a gallery. Is it wise to use this plugin for that reason? I set condition to open lightbox on click of image. Do I need cookies for this or can I skip that?

I’ve started out trying the plugin already (it is really good looking :)) but something is going wrong when box appears it loads on another page with white background.

    So grateful for help!
    /Helena

First, thank you for choosing Popup Maker!

Make sure you’re using the Click Trigger properly. It sounds like the Click Trigger isn’t setup right and that doc will explain all options in detail.

Yes, you can skip the Cookies if you’re doing Click Triggers, as these are typically only for Auto Open and the like.

    Hope that helps!

    Thank you for answer!

I read the doc and as far as I understand I am following the instructions properly. I’m using method 1 and have copy-pasted the popmake-class to the image-element. The SiteOrigin Page Builder widget supplies a field for entering css-class to widget. And as the popup opens when image is clicked I suppose that is working except for displaying the window according to PageBuilder in the Popup Maker.

Instead of floating next to each other the content containers are piled on top of each other to the left.

I can’t see any more instructions in the doc on how I can modify the set up, do you have suggestions?

    /Helena

Can you provide a link and what has to be done to trigger the popup?

Also, describe exactly what you want to happen compared to what is happening. It sounds like it’s a CSS issue, but it’s hard to say without seeing it.

    Hi, yes I think its a css-thing.

The page I’m working on is far from done, only dummy images so far. The employer wish the products to be displayed in popup windows that can show detailed information which we can layout in detail – like on this page https://youfoodz.com/collections/all

So my wish is to be able to style the popup box in detail, where to put certain text, image, info etc as I can on normal pages and posts when using PageBuilder, you get it.

There is no problem in using the PageBuilder back end, it looks as it normally does but not showing front end where content just piles to the left.

Here is our page in progress.. https://nysida.bosphorus.se/matkoncept/

    Thank you for taking time

First, so sorry for the delay – some how I didn’t see this reply.

You should be able to build a global type template segment in your page builder – this would allow you to use that segment template anywhere in your site (including popups) and should provide a shortcode. You can then put this segment shortcode inside the popup.

It might be a little different from page builder to page builder, but the basic process is the same: build your row on the front end, save it as a template, insert builder shortcode of row template into popup.

Alternatively, you can craft it by hand using HTML and CSS in the Popup Editor Text Tab.

Hope that helps! Sorry for the delay again!

Please take a moment to rate and review our plugin and/or support.
